Perak Turf Club - PRTC RACING PREVIEW

PRTC RACING PREVIEW

The 1400m Miss Nathan Stakes will headline the nine race programme at Perak Turf Club this Saturday. The high grade event should develop into an interesting contest where two of the major contenders being the locally trained MULTIBLUE SHARK and PENDRAGON PRINCESS.

MULTIBLUE SHARK has been a model of consistency and returns to his home turf where he possesses a good record over the track/distance (3 wins from 8 starts). The 7yo had no luck in KL last start and was unlucky to miss the place after receiving a slight check in the home straight. The grey hasn’t won since November 2018 but looks a genuine chance of breaking the drought.

 PENDRAGON PRINCESS

PENDRAGON PRINCESS is a fast beginner who should take up a forward position from gate nine (after scratchings) and is the likely leader. The mare was nailed in the last stride when finishing runner up here on August 22 over 1400m and she will give plenty of cheek from the front end.

Another mare on the way up is the KL trained LIMITLESS STOUT which visits Ipoh for the first time. The 5yo was narrowly beaten by the inform Not Usual Prince in Penang recently and was a beaten favourite in a strong combined Class 2/3 event in KL last Saturday. Despite the wide gate (Barrier 12), she should figure in the finish with luck in running.

GOD HELPS ME led all the way and won narrowly at big odds when produced second up in KL earlier this month while CROWN STAR has been racing well and looks a place chance from the outside marble.
