Another marathon card of ten races will be conducted at PRTC on Saturday featuring the 1400m Merdeka Square Stakes (Race 7).

Promising galloper READY TO FORCE will be on track for a winning hat trick if successful in the Enrich Stakes A event. After leading all the way to win in Class 3 company at KL in February, the 6yo resumed with an effortless victory last month at Penang in heavy going. He will carry 4 kg more but he has built a respectable record in Malaysia with 4 wins from 8 local starts, missing a place only once which was in last year’s G1 Tunku Gold Cup.

MULITBLUE SHARK receives a big weight advantage with the apprentice claim and is due to strike. The 7yo grey reeled off a quick final sectional time when beaten narrowly by Not Usual Prince here last Sunday and he has never missed a place over the Ipoh 1400m which includes 3 wins.

Speedy mare, PENDRAGON PRINCESS should once again find herself in a forward position after leading from gate 7 last week. The 6yo is third up and despite not winning a race in 15 months, is well weighted with the claim. SACRED TONIC has not threatened in two performances this time in for his new stable but his previously trial form suggests that an improvement would not surprise. Penang Governors Gold Cup winner, DAVINCI should strip fitter second up from a spell while stable mate, BRISTOL DIAMOND has a good record over 1400m and his last run 5th was much better than it reads at his first start against the high graders.

Five year old galloper, MAGIC ECLIPSE has been labelled as the Turf Guide special and looks a genuine chance to break through in the 1400m Open Maiden (Race 6) on Saturday.
MAGIC ECLIPSE resumed in KL on July 19, producing a fast sprint from last at the 400m to finish 3rd behind promising type, Watch The Throne over 1200m. The lightly raced gelding held his form with a fair 3rd at the same venue three weeks later.
With three placings from six starts, he should be primed following his two efforts this preparation.

SYMBOL OF COURAGE showed potential at the KL trials prior to his promising local debut when runner up behind Gold Sky Billion at Penang last month. The 4yo will benefit from that performance and looks the main danger. DARCI SUPER has been working well at the track and is also nearing a maiden victory judging by his first up 3rd in Penang on July 19. The 7yo has attracted market support numerous times in his 19 start career and has been freshened for Saturday’s outing. Other trifecta chances include NOVA BATTLE and STAY SOUND, who can improve second up from the break.
