Penang’s highest rated galloper, WORLD HARMONY will be attempting to make it successive victories in the 1300m Enrich Stakes A race in Penang this Sunday. Six of the ten runners, including WORLD HARMONY, will be backing up from last weekend.

Plenty of interest has been added to the high grade contest with the inclusion of up and coming performers in WINDCHASER and PROBABLY, who are progressing through the classes rapidly. Both horses have been a revelation for the Cecil Robert camp posting 3 wins from 6 starts this year.

WORLD HARMONY is a proven performer at this level and will be one of the favourites following his narrow victory over dual Group One winner, Impel over 1200m last Sunday. SEA WORLD was placed 4th in the Selangor Gold Cup (G1) last start and has been ultra consistent in recent months.

PROFESSOR X cannot be discounted either as he lowered the colours of WORLD HARMONY back in January. OKI OKI might be one for trifecta as he drops drastically in weight from recent starts and has been placed first up previously.

Another interesting contest is the 1700m Cosmo C race with 4 of the 5 runners coming out of the Perak Derby earlier this month. Derby winner FORTUNIQUE is a dour stayer who has won at distances beyond 2000m but should still prove hard to beat. Runner up in the Derby, GLORY AGE has a good record in this distance range and looks better suited dropping back to the 1700m trip.

ROYAL GREEN has won 3 from 5 at the track and distance and was unsuited by the damp track in the Derby last start. He should show vast improvement if a dry surface prevails. FEISTY LEO, 4th in the Derby, was unplaced in a Class 3 last week but can win if he strikes his best form.

CARBON COPY also finished unplaced last Sunday but his previous performance, when 2nd over the mile, was an encouraging effort.

RACE 4 NO 4 ROYAL EXPLORER – A progressive type who is yet to miss a place in five Malaysian starts for the Sharee Hamilton stable. Won over 1300m on Christmas day by 5 lengths in his local debut and has maintained solid form since, including a Class 4 victory in February. The 4yo is an on pace runner, well drawn in barrier two, and has been freshened for Sunday’s outing

RACE 7 NO 3 GET THE LOTSKI – From the Stephen Cook yard this horse has an excellent record on the Penang circuit with 2 wins from 3 starts over the 1300m there. The 6yo caught the eye last time with a fast finishing 2nd on March 18, going down by a head and looks primed to return to winning form this weekend.
